- the size of domains are doubled to expand the scope of the play area. Thus 1 domain is 2 leagues square (7 miles square or 49 square miles).
- Domains with a coastline are considered to have "territorial" waters equivalent to the number of coastline domains.

Narrator's House Rules
I'm going to list any house rules I'm implementing here. Please bear with me while I learn the system as I will probably add more as we play.

Suggestion for the house rules - The book doesn't list times to convert Power into units. I'd suggest some scale like the following:
ReplyDelete-1 month to convert power into a green unit.
-1d6 months to convert a green unit into a trained unit.
-After engagement in a battle, a trained unit can be upgraded to a veteran unit.
-After particularly impressive success in a battle, a veteran unit may be upgraded to elite.
This keeps things sort of controlled, and we can't just turn our crowded town into some elite cavalry out of the gate.
