Heraldry Update update update. A coat of arms has been selected in the manner most becoming RPers, by casting of a d6. I've also taken the liberty of putting together Ser Roger's arms. Enjoy.
Mottos are "Constant as the Tide" and "Duty First".
Your votes were as follows:
#1: Micah, BR
#2: LR, T
#3: Sam, Sarah
Redline, make the call.
Alright, I think we have the final set of heraldry I'm willing to throw together. I'll open this up to a vote. If you don't have an opinion, that's cool, but if you want something different, feel free to put it up here (or email it to me and I'll do it).
I generally preferred the second one from your prior post, but number 2 here is a close second.
ReplyDeleteI think number 1 looks best.
ReplyDeleteNumber 2 seems to make more sense though. Would it look better without the yellow at the bottom?
I like how the house colors coordinate with the blog color scheme. Nice work players.

ReplyDeleteCan't post image in comment so making a top level. If no one else likes it, I'm fine with either of these.
ReplyDeletei like 3 better than 2
ReplyDeleteI really don't want to get into ranking second choices. Dice roll of 2 says shield #1.
ReplyDeleteDo you have arms as well BR?
ReplyDeleteAlso, nice arms LR. I like it.
ReplyDeleteThat is a badass shield LR.
ReplyDeleteI tried to capture a slightly unamused "face" in the shield as well, for those of you who are in to subtlety. Ser Roger doesn't strike me as a joker.
ReplyDeleteI figure that Malcolm doesn't have his own arms for two reasons - one, his status is somewhat low because he's not "anointed". His vows were taken in the field by a knight of house Castriati. The other reason it seems unlikely is he doesn't participate in tourneys, and has no holdings to bear his crest. His grandfather and father both had arms (since they were both anointed - azure roundel on gold field) but he doesn't carry theirs anymore.
